The Ondo State Competition and Consumer Protection Agency, ODCCPA, has given all businesses in the state one month to complete their registration.

The agency's Executive Chairman, Oluyemi Fasipe, announced this online on Thursday and said the registration is compulsory for every business operating in Ondo State.

The registration costs nothing, and businesses that finish the process will get an official ODCCPA Registration ID and Certificate.

The one month is meant to give owners enough time to comply before the agency starts enforcement.

Businesses that fail to register after the grace period could face sanctions and fines under the law.

The agency urged owners to use the time and register quickly, and said the process can be done online through its registration portal.

According to the agency, the exercise is part of efforts to protect consumers and make sure businesses in the state follow the rules.
