Omg! Serious Commotion as Gunmen Storm Benue Community, Kill the King

 

Chief Awuhe Alev, a traditional ruler in Vingir, Katsina-Ala Local Government of Benue State, has been killed.

 

The monarch was yesterday killed by gunmen.

 

According to The Nation, police spokesperson, Moses Yamu, who confirmed the incident via text message, said they got the report about 8.30pm that Chief Alev, the kindred head of Mbayongo, was shot dead at his residence.

 

Yamu said more officers had been deployed in the area, and investigation was on.
