S*x with my partner is amazing and the chemistry between us so intense we cannot keep our hands or eyes off one another, yet she is planning to go back to her ex.

 

We’ve had our challenges from the start as I am 29 and she is 47. We met and became friends travelling on the bus to work and we fell in love. We started meeting in the evenings then going back to my flat for s*x. She struggles with the age gap and worries how I will feel when she gets older.

 

It does not bother me at all, even knowing we won’t have kids together.

 

Her marriage has been dead for years. When she told her husband about us he threw her out and has tried to pit her son against her.

 

She moved in with me a few months ago but still finds it hard to move on from her family. She was not invited to her son’s 18th birthday party and was very upset.

 

Her husband is the hero to everyone while she is the awful mother. If her relationship with her son could be fixed I am sure she would be OK but he blames her and is very nasty to her.

  

She is so worn down she is now talking about going back home before Christmas just to make everyone else happy.

 

She tried going back once before as her husband promised things would be different but nothing changed and she missed me so much she could not stay away.

 

I don’t know whether to leave her and see what happens, or stay and support her as I know she will be miserable without me. Is the age gap going to defeat us in the end?
