President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday has revealed that the results of the series of medical checkups he carried out in the cause of his medical vacation had shown that he needs longer period of rest.

 

According to Buhari, the test results was what made him to extend his vacation in London, United Kingdom. Buhari said he had not planned to stay longer than he had conveyed to the National Assembly and thanked Nigerians for their prayers.

 

Explaining further, the President who revealed this in a four-paragraph made available to journalists by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina didn't say how long he is going to stay before coming back to the country.

 

The statement read , “President Muhammadu Buhari thanks millions of Nigerians who have been sending good wishes and praying for his health and well-being in mosques and churches throughout the country.
