Serious Drama As LAUTECH Students Prevent UTME Candidates From Entering School Premises

 

 

It was quite a dramatic scene that played out on Monday morning at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, as students of the institution prevented candidates who were posted to the school to write the 2017 UTME from gaining entrance to their examination halls.

 

Daily Post reports that the aggrieved students were said to have carried out the action to alert the world of the alleged refusal of the owners of the institution to resolve some of the problems facing them.

 

While they were said to have mobilised themselves before the candidates’ arrival, barricading every entrance to the school, the students also prevented teaching and non- teaching staff of the institution from entering the school.

 

The institution is jointly owned by the State government of Oyo and Osun States respectively.
