Family members and friends of a young Nigerian soldier have been left mourning following the shocking death of the 19-year-old soldier son killed by Boko Haram.

A young Nigerian soldier has met his untimely death in the hands of dreaded Boko Haram terrorists in Borno State. He was killed in a brutal fight with the insurgents.

The sad incident was shared by Sdb Silas on Facebook. He wrote: "#RestInPeace #YoungBlood Uv played ur part, Uv done ur best, now u can rest wit da Lord.. #RIP"

The death of the young man will come as a rude shock to his parents. Many people have been expressing sadness over the news.
