A young and promising Nigerian soldier battling against the Boko Haram in the north-east has fallen at the theatre of war.

The deceased, Atoki

A Nigerian man Gbadamosi Abdul-Quanyyum from Ibadan, Oyo State (but resides in the United Kingdom) took to Facebook to mourn his soldier friend, Atoki who was killed during a gun duel with the Boko Haram sect.

Since he shared the news, friends have been mourning him after his shocking death. Below is what Gbadsmosi wrote;

"Another Gallant soldier has paid the supreme prize for the safety of the masses and for national security. It still feels like dream but God knows best.

May Allah pardon your sins and grant your soul eternal rest. May He grant us the fortitude to bear this loss".
