It appears President Buhari's popularity level in the northern part of Nigeria has refused to wane in spite of the harsh economic realities in Nigeria.
President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Kano State on a 2-day official state visit. A mammoth crowd swarmed the President as he was encircled by security operatives.
Buhari’s arrival was announced by his Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad via his Twitter handle.
Many of his supporters were out to welcome Mr. Buhari. The pictures are currently being used as a yardstick of the measurement of Buhari's popularity ahead of the 2019 Presidential election when he might be slugging it out with a former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of the People's Democratic Party, PDP.
