Many people are talking on social media following the controversial manner Atiku greeted former head of state, Ibrahim Babangida at his home.

Nigerians have reacted after a photo of former vice-president Atiku Abubakar appeared like he was kneeling to greet former military head of state, Ibrahim Babangida at his home in Minna, Niger State.

It was reported that Atiku had allegedly gone to seek for Babangida’s endorsement for his candidacy for president in 2019 under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Some online users are of the opinion that politicians like Atiku can do anything including kneeling or even lying on the floor as far as they get endorsement for a political position. Others argued that he was just respecting the elderstates man, and so do not see anything wrong in the photo.
