Tragedy as 2-weeks-old Housewife Kills Hubby, Brother With Rat Poison in Katsina

 

A 15-year-old housewife, Dausiya Abdulmumin, of Unguwar Danmayaki village in Bakori Local government area of Katsina has been arrested by the police over the killing of her husband, one Saminu Usman (27 years old) and her younger brother, Muhammad Abdulmumin (18 years).

 

Dausiya who is two weeks only into the marriage was said to have put rat poison in the food of the deceased persons that led to their death.

 

Muhammad, her younger brother, who is living in the same house also died after eating the poisoned food.

 

However, one Shafaatu Usman, 23 years, the deceased husband younger sister did survived the incident after she was rushed to the hospital.

 

The state police command spokesman DSP Gambo Isah said already the suspect has been arrested and confessed to the crime saying that “she's being transferred to the state criminal investigation department for further investigation.”
