One of the world's most talked about footballers, Lionel Messi sat down to watch Argentina’s 6-1 humiliation at the hands of Spain from the stands but he couldn’t even bear to see it out until the finish.

 

The Spanish team were impressive with Isco bagging a hat-trick with Diego Costa, Thiago and Iago Aspas also getting on the scoresheet.

 

Barcelona legend Messi who did not pay in the game, observed the beating from a hospitality box with teammate and West Ham star Manuel Lanzini and showed a range of emotions including frustration, disbelief and pure exasperation.

 

But soon after Isco had completed his treble in the 74th minute and the embarrassment was almost complete, Messi was seen walking back into the box.
