Nigerian Police officers who are meant to protect the public, make sure people obey the law, provide safety to citizens, and also provide a helping hand, has exhibited their virtues once again in Abia state.

A Facebook user identified as Uchenna Onyeizu, has taken to the social networking platform to post some photos of Nigerian Police officers who were captured on camera as they helped out an old woman whose palm kernel fell-off from her bike in Abia state.

According to Onyeizu, the three officers were walking by on Okeiyi-Umuokahia II road in Obingwa local government area of the state when they saw the woman with her fallen load. Onyeizu said that he was moved by what the officers did and decided to take photos of them and share with the public.

He posted the photos and wrote:

"Today, I saw the Nigeria Policemen from a very good point of view. This old woman was trying to tie her bunch of palm fruits to her bike when they suddenly fell off. These policemen were passing and stopped to give a helping hand. I was driving behind them and without their knowledge I smartly took these pictures!!!

"Really, we still have some men in uniform rendering unnoticed services to humanity. God bless you guys with promotions and good things of life!!!

"This incident happened along Okeiyi-Umuokahia II Road in Obingwa Local Government of Abia state, Nigeria and subtly showcases hardworking women in Abia involved in the state rich oil palm production."
