President Muhammadu Buhari has been lambasted by a former presidential aide over his derogatory comment about Nigerian youths.

A former Presidential media aid, Doyin Okupe has lambasted president Muhammadu Buhari for saying that most Nigerian youths are lazy.

Okupe who was media aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan made this known on Twitter.

Recall that Mr Buhari, while speaking at the Commonwealth Business Forum in Westminster on Wednesday, had stated that Nigerian youths prefer to do nothing because they feel Nigeria is an oil-rich nation.

Okupe tweeted: "PMB's comment on Nigerian Youths is an OWN goal @ the 90th minute of a 0-0 match. It is a fatal unforced Error. The league is on."
