Police Arrest 14-year-old Boy for Sexually Abusing a 33-year-old Woman

 

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on charges he choked, robbed and sexually assaulted a Brooklyn woman in the stairwell of her apartment building earlier this month.

 

The teen, of Pleasantville, Westchester County, followed the 33-year-old victim as she entered her East Flatbush apartment building at 8p.m. on Dec. 16, police said. 

 

He attacked her from behind in a stairwell, then forced her to perform a sexual act, cops said. They said the teen then took her cell phone, cash and fled.

 

Police released two videos after the attack and asked for the public’s help identifying the attacker. Late Thursday night, cops announced the boy’s arrest, saying a tipster saw the videos and contacted authorities.

 

He’s charged with a raft of offenses, including first-degree criminal sex act, a crime formerly classified as sodomy, first-degree strangulation, sexual abuse and robbery.
