In a season of misplaced priorities and shambolic empowerment packages by state governments, Benue and Anambra States have been caught on the wrong side.

According to Apga Alaigbo who shared the photos on Facebook, Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State recently empowered Anambra students with 25 litre water jerry-can.

"Willie is working, S.J.S.S Awka" was proudly crested on the containers to promote the 'good deeds' of the first man of the South-eastern state.

The jerry-can allegedly distributed by the Anambra government

This comes after his Benue State counterpart, Governor Samuel Ortom donated brand new wheelbarrows to youths in the state.

Anambra indigenes and their Benue counterparts are currently enduring painful trolls on social media from netizens taking close jabs at them for the odious acts by their leaders.

The action attributed to the All Progressives Grand Alliance-administration in Anambra State hasn't been independently verified while a social media mob action has reportedly forced Governor Ortom to deny knowledge of the wheelbarrows and hoes crested with his name.
