Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, has arrived at the Osun APC campaign rally to wild reception from a happy crowd.

Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Nigeria's Vice President, has just arrived at the venue of the All Progressives Congress (APC) mega rally in Osogbo, capital of Osun State, ahead of the September 22 governorship election in the state, SaharaReporters reports.

The chopper conveying Osinbajo landed at roughly 4:05pm; and immediately his arrival was announced, many people in the crowd stopped listening to the emcee and instead trooped in the direction of the chopper.

As of the time of filing this report, Osinbajo was exchanging pleasantries with APC bigwigs, including Abiola Ajimobi, Governor of Oyo State; Rotimi Akeredolu, Governor of Ondo State; Ibikunle Amosun, Goernor of Ondo State; Femi Gbajabiamila, Majority Leader of the House of Representatives and Babatunde Ogala, National Legal Adviser of the APC.
