Check Out How Nigerians Reacted To Communication Minister, Shittu's NYSC Skipping Scandal

It will be recalled that earlier today, the Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shittu, was accused of skipping the mandatory national youth service scheme, an offence that may see him lose his position and earn him a jail term.

 

Premium Times reported that Adebayo Shittu failed to participate in the NYSC scheme despite graduating from the then University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU) at age 25.

 

When reached out to, Shittu insisted that he deliberately skipped NYSC, stating that "The constitution provides for the qualification needed for state assembly members, NYSC is not there.

 

Now Nigerians on social media have reacted to the development with many calling for him to resign just like Adeosun who who stepped aside after she was accused of forging her NYSC certificate.
