Beyond the beauty of his new bride, former Miss Iara Fortes, Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has told reporters why he chose the Cape Verdean beauty: To fill the vacuum left by the painful demise of his first wife, Clara, about five years ago.
For those still yet to come to terms with Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole's talk of the town wedding to Iara Fortes, the former labour leader has given reasons why he picked the Cape Verdean beauty above others.

Fielding questions from newsmen yesterday just before the wedding reception, which held at the People's White Hall in the Governor's country home in Etsako West LGA, Oshiomhole described his new bride, who is a lawyer by profession, as very "understanding, caring and a loving lady".
The comrade governor also expressed joy with his family for the support given to him to remarry about five years after the painful demise of his first wife, Clara.
"This is something that one is happy about", he said. "I am happy that all my children are at home with her and accept her as their mother even though she is not old enough to be their mother. She has accepted to fill that gap".
Describing his wife further, Oshiomhole said: "She is very humble, she appreciates the nature of my job and life that I return home late, some times 3am. She understands my weaknesses, she is more or less the mother of the house, the one that has accepted to be the mother of my children".
The marriage was attended by the high and mighty of society including President-elect Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President-elect, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN).
