Beyonce has paid tribute to country music legend Dolly Parton, who died Tuesday at age 80.

On her official website, the superstar called Parton a north star and said she taught lessons on being uniquely oneself.

Beyonce thanked Parton for her art, heart, generosity and entrepreneurship, saying she was grateful to have worked with her.

The two collaborated on Beyonce's 2024 album Cowboy Carter, where Parton appeared on an interlude and the track Tyrant.

Beyonce also recorded a reworked version of Parton's classic hit Jolene for the album, which Parton publicly praised.

Taylor Swift said a world without Dolly doesn't feel possible or right.

She described Parton as true grace and true grit combined, someone with the softest heart for others' struggles but a steel backbone to defend her own worth as an artist.
