A boy was said to have fallen into an open well and died while trying to escape being shot by the bandits at Zamfarawa village.
Three persons were reportedly killed Wednesday night when bandits attacked five villages in Batsari Local Government Area of Katsina State.
The villages are Garin Labo, Bakon Zabo, Nahuta, Ajasu and Zamfarawar Madogara.
Sources said two persons were killed and four others injured at Bakon Zabo.

At Nahuta village, two married women were reportedly kidnapped. Several animals were also said to be rustled by the bandits at the five villages.
The police authorities were yet to respond to enquiries made on the attack.
