In defiance of the Nigerian government, members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria have continued to protest against detention of their leader.

Shiites protesting today in Abuja

Members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria have once again taken to the streets of Abuja to protest against the continued detention of their leader, Shiekh Ibrahim El-zakzaky.

The group, proscribed by the Nigerian government is demanding the immediate and unconditional release of their leader and his wife Zeenah who have been in detention for more than 3years.
