Nollywood actress and film producer, Mercy Aigbe-Gentry blasts a fan for daring to call her a 'bad' role model for her own kids.
The bone of contention was the excerpt of an interview the actress, who made the front cover of Motherhood Magazine alongside her 14-year-old daughter and son, gave where she talked about discussing sex education with her daughter.
She was quoted to have said: "There was a day she came back from school and was like 'Mummy, somebody got expelled in my class for giving someone blowjob' and I just exclaimed 'Blow what? You know what that is?' She just laughed and said 'Mummy, you don't expect me not to know that'... You know? That opened another room to educate her. As often as possible, I have to talk to her about boys. Teens need sex education. She is growing up so fast, so I need to tell her all she needs and wants to know so she doesn't get it all mixed up".
The fan, who goes by the name 'riskyreward', launched a scathing attack on the actress, calling her "a bad example of a mother".
Not one to ignore sometimes unruly comments from fans, Mrs. Aigbe-Gentry fired back.
