Two Children Die As School Toilet Collapses In Niger State

In what will come across as a rather startling development, two children have been found dead in the rubble of a collapsed toilet of UK Bello Memorial Primary School, Paiko, in Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State.

Daily Trust is yet to ascertain what the children were doing around the building that was said to be weak.

Some sources said the children, a boy and a girl, were hawking sachet water with their friends around the school when the building collapsed on them, killing them on the spot. Others said they were scavenging for scraps to sell around the building when it collapsed.
