While the National and State Houses of Assembly rerun elections are set to start, a patrol vehicle conveying fake police officers were apprehended by the Nigerian Army at Rumuokwuta community in Rivers state.
Their identities and party affiliations are currently unknown and its not clear if arrests were made by security operatives.
In the same vain, Security agents arrested some thugs dressed in army uniform. The arrest was made at INEC headquarters in Bori, Khana. Among them is a popular politician in the oil-rich state named Cyril Dum Wite.

Unconfirmed reports have it that they are affiliated with the People's Democratic Party, PDP.
