Police Arrest Man For Defiling Teenage House Help

The Rivers State Police Command apprehended a 42-year-old man known as Kolawole for purportedly s*xually assaulting his 13-year-old female house assistant in Ejekwu street, located in the Eneka community of Obio-Akpor Local Government area within the state.

The Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, who confirmed the arrest, said the suspect who works in an oil company is currently in detention as investigation is ongoing.

According to the PPRO, the suspect was arrested by the Human Rights Desk of the state police command, following a complaint by concerned neighbors, whom the teenage girl ran to for help after her alleged defilement by the suspect.

DAILY POST gathered that some women in the vicinity claimed to have examined the genital of the teenage girl to ascertain the veracity of her claim and confirmed that she has indeed been penetrated on several occasions.

They also claimed a medical examination has been conducted on the girl which also confirmed her accusation.
