On Thursday, November 30, no less than four persons narrowly escaped death when four vehicles rammed into each other at Ibafo in the Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
It was gathered that a truck belonging to Ogun State Waste Management Authority was clearing the refuse along the expressway when a speeding white Hyundai Hiace bus with number plate FST388YE rammed into it from behind.
This resulted in two other vehicles; a Toyota Sienna and another Toyota Camry with registration numbers, MUS398FR and JJJ806HV respectively, crashing into each other.
The occupants of the white Toyota Hiace bus whose identities could not be confirmed as of press time sustained serious injuries and had been rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
The accident had also caused traffic along the axis, while passers-by coordinated the vehicular movements.
Meanwhile, efforts to reach the spokesperson for the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, Babatunde Akinbiyi to get his reactions were unsuccessful as of the time of filing this report.
