The Nigeria Police Force has arrested two individuals linked to the brutal killing of Adebayo Oladoyinbo, a prominent socialite in Ondo State widely known as 'Saybayo.'
The suspects, identified as Adeojo Ilesanmi, 50, and Atinuke Adeniyi, 29, were arrested following the discovery of the deceased’s body in the Ijapo axis of Akure, the state capital.
According to the State Police Public Relations Officer, Funmilayo Odunlami, the suspects were nabbed after a comprehensive investigation to unravel the cause of the deceased’s death.
Odunlami disclosed that the lifeless body of Saybayo was discovered in his vehicle, parked in Ijapo Estate.
The PPRO maintained that this development prompted the swift deployment of detectives from the command to investigate the death.
She said an intelligence report led to the arrest of Atinuke, who was said to be the girlfriend of the deceased and was with him when he gave up the ghost.
Odunlami stated that Atinuke, who was involved in a romantic affair with the socialite, was arrested a day after his corpse was found.
