Rivers Crisis: I Don’t Have Good Relationship With Peter Odili – Wike

 

Nyesom Wike, a former Governor of Rivers State and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory has opened up that he doesn't have a good relationship with former Governor Peter Odili.

 

He said their friendship has broken a longtime ago.

 

Speaking with select TV channels, Wike said their relationship hit the rock due to certain political disagreements.

 

Odili, a two-time Governor of Rivers State, handed over Rotimi Amaechi, Wike’s predecessor.

“As it is today, politically we don’t have a good relationship. We don’t work today. there are some political differences,” Wike said.

 

The FCT minister, however, did not mention what actually happened that led to their sour relationship.

 

Meanwhile, in an interview aired on the Nigerian Television Authority last week, Chibuike Amaechi, a former Minister of Transportation, vowed never to be ill about Peter Odili no matter the circumstances.
