A recent video of popular singer, Lyta performing performing in the trenches following his exit from YBNL has stirred reactions online.
The “Monalisa” crooner was spotted in a recent video that surfaced online performing at a local event in an undisclosed location.
Many expressed that he is an artist of great potential and does not deserve to perform at such subpar events.
It would be recalled that Lyta had fallen out with Olamide in 2019, which led to his exit from the YBNL record label.
An X user who shared the video on his account wrote:
“See what Ex Ybnl Signee, Lyta has become
This is what happens when you Think you can do what your record Label does for you all alone.
Record Labels Play a major role in artists’s careers, They Push, They Fund, they do everything for the artiste … That’s why once an artiste leaves a label, It’s always so hard for the artiste to stay relevant because no proper funding and push anymore”.
While some have reacted sadly to the video, some have called on Olamide to offer a second chance to Lyta.
