A Man Doesn't Need To Inform His First Wife Before Marrying More Wives - Nigerian Man Says

A Nigerian man, Nasir Yunusa has opined that men do not have to inform their first wives before taking a new wife.

According to him, it is the man's right to take many wives and does not owe her an explanation.

He stated this in response to a post by a Muslim woman, Hadiza Garba, who asked why some men do not inform their first wives when embarking on polygyny.

“He doesn't need to inform her because that's solely his right,” Yunusa said.
