One Feared Dead, Six Injured In Ghastly Accident (Photos)

One person has died while six others sustained injuries in a tragic accident at the Sagamu Express junction in the Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The spokesperson of the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, Babatunde Akinbiyi, in a terse statement to journalists, disclosed that the accident occurred at about 9:48 am on Sunday.

Akinbiyi said that the accident involved a Bus Mass Transit vehicle, and a truck, adding that rescue operations are ongoing.

He said, “There is a fatal RTA involving a BMT bus and a truck inbound at Sagamu Express Junction. There is also one presumed dead and six serious injuries reported. Rescue operations are ongoing.”
