A South African national, Gipson has advised men not to date women who earn more than them.

In a post shared on X, he stated that a man is supposed to be the powerful one and not the woman, hence the reason for the advice.

“Don't allow yourself to be with a woman who's earning more than you when you start a relationship. You will thank me later. A man's gotta be the powerful one,” he wrote.
