Two Men Arrested For Stealing Car in Ekiti (Photo)

 

Two men have been arrested for stealing a Toyota Corolla 2009 model from Ilomu- Ekiti.

 

The men were arrested by the Anti-Vehicle Theft Section of the Ekiti State Police Command.

 

Taiwo Johnson and Ibrahim Aderinto were arrested at Kajorepo-ibadan, Oyo State, on the 21st January, 2025.

 

A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abutu Sunday said one Taiwo Johnson and Ibrahim Aderinto were arrested for conspiring and stealing the vehicle from where it was parked at the owners compound in Ilomu-Ekiti.

 

The suspects, during investigation, confessed to the crime and led the operatives to recover the stolen vehicle.

 

Advising the general public to be vigilant at all times, the Command implored residents to be conscious of their environment and report any suspicious persons to the police.
