A bride on her wedding day was actually pictured trying to swallow or eat up the groom in a most awkward traditional wedding photo.

This picture was taken at the traditional wedding ceremony of a Yoruba couple going by the attire worn on the special day.

The highlight of the ceremony was the hunger the bride expressed when the couple were finally given a chance to go ahead with the wedding kiss as the Nigerian marriage ceremony entails.

A top commenter on social media claims it must have taken the young man about two decades to propose marriage to her; hence the level of enthusiasm of the bride in the kissing session.
