


There was a fire outbreak in the midnight at Ladipo market in Mushin and Owode Onirin market along Ikorodu Road, Lagos.
The inferno has left behind a trail of destruction with goods worth millions of naira reduced to ashes.
Eyewitnesses reported the fire started at Ladipo market around 1am quickly spreading through numerous shops and warehouses stocked with mechanical tools, vehicle spare parts, motorcycles, and household electrical appliances.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported in either incident, as confirmed by the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, which successfully extinguished the flames by 6 a.m.
Another fire broke out at Owode Onirin Market along Ikorodu road, impacting several shops that sold metallic materials.
Firefighters from Alausa and Ikorodu Fire Stations responded quickly, bringing the situation under control by 5 a.m.
