A South Sudanese woman, Josephine Abyei Tong Akech, has congratulated her husband, Mayen Koor, for marrying another wife.
 
In a Facebook post on April 7, 2025, Josephine expressed her happiness and support for her husband’s decision to bring another wife into the family.
 
“Congratulations my husband for bringing us our second wife,” her post reads.
