A video clip has emerged online showing the moments some federal lawmakers of House of Representative planned to stage a protest as President Buhari presents the 2018 Budget.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday afternoon, presented the 2018 budget to a joint session of the National Assembly.

According to a new report, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) caucus of the House of Representatives had planned to protest the budget presentation shortly before the commencement of the presentation by President Muhammadu Buhari

Premium Times reports that the lawmakers, who met at Hearing Room 2 where they held a caucus meeting on how to stage the protest, were seen leaving the venue with placards.

Some of the inscriptions on the placards include “change the change” “our mumu done do.”
