Two young ladies have been arrested along the road in Enugu state by police officers allegedly for indecent dressing.

Enugu police reportedly arrest 2 girls for indecent dressing

A Facebook user identified as Nonso Nwagu, has taken to the social networking platform and shared the photos of two ladies who were allegedly arrested for dressing indecently in Enugu state.

One of the ladies arrested was seen wearing a short blue jean skirt and a white sweatshirt while the other was seen wearing a short black and white dress.

The young man who witnessed the incident at Garrison area of Enugu, wrote: “Police arrested two ladies today at Garrison for indecent dressing. Is anything wrong with their dressing."

Some Nigerians who read the post on Facebook lauded the officers for arresting the girls while claiming that indecent dressing causes unrest, while other Nigerians, however, expressed that arresting people dressing indecently is not the job of police officers. They asked them to do their jobs.
