It was a remorseful moment for a man identified as Maxwell after he was beaten mercilessly for allegedly trying to withdraw money from a bank customer's account.

The alleged thief, Maxwell Chuks

A Nigerian man by name Maxwell Chuks has been beaten mercilessly after he was reportedly caught trying to withdraw money from another bank customer's account in Lagos state.

According to Titus Senato Titus, the man had used MTN sim card attached to a sim pack to withdraw money from people's account. He was tied with his hand at the back with a chain.

Chuks wrote: "Digital thieves in town, Nigerians please beware of who get or access your bank account infos. This man by name Maxwell Chuks was caught some where in Lagos, using Mtn sim card attached to a sim pack to withdraw money from other people’s account, the method he uses was to insert the sim pack into the ATM machine and type a code embedded on each account number written on a piece of paper for him. Found in his possession was a paper bearing account numbers of different people, MTN sim pack and a pen."
