A university student has stunned social media users after he found a secret door in his baseball and shared the finding online.
The bloke uncovered more than he expected
An astonishing revelation was made by a curious student roaming his university basement, Daily Star UK reports.
The anonymous explorer was said to be procrastinating before stumbling across a set of steel doors.
Then after making his way down a set of pitch-black stairs, the man eventually uncovered a light switch.
As he began taking pictures of what he saw, he noticed it was more than just a hidden area.
What he found was a large room with thick concrete walls and heavy-duty steel doors. This suggested that the area was in fact once an underground air raid shelter.
He later uncovered a bathroom with a sealed toilet and running water.
The shelter also consisted of air pressure gauges, a clean air generator and also an escape hatch.
Known by the username stats_quo, the German shared a series of snaps on Imgur of what he discovered.
The amazing sighting was found in 2014 at Hochschule Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Krefeld — near Dusseldorf in Germany, but has gained popularity after a video was put together and shared on YouTube channel Fact Box yesterday.
Since then it has racked up more than 3,500 views.
