Viewers Discretion: Corps member stabbed to death in Imo state

The gruesome murder of an NYSC member serving in Imo State has been reported. The corper, Akpanika Hope Frampton is believed to have been murdered by yet to be identified assailants in Ezuhu Umuhu Okwuato community in Aboh Mbaise Council of Imo state...

Akpanika who was mobilised for the 2014 Batch ‘C’ and posted to Christ the Saviour Secondary School, Aboh Mbaise, for his primary assignment was murdered at his residence about 5p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2015 with knife stabs on his body.

The victim was discovered in his apartment by neighbours tied up and his face covered with his shirt in his own pool of blood. Witnesses at the scene speculate that he may have been attacked while he was sleeping.

The police is currently investigating the murder of the corp member who hailed from Calabar Municipal Local Government Area of Cross River State.
