According to Daily Star UK, Natasha Lewis was just 18 when she tied the knot with husband Richard, now 58.
The couple enjoyed their first kiss during a shift after Natasha’s mother got her daughter the part-time job.
Natasha, now 21, said she and Richard have been happily married for three years but still get “dirty looks” in the village of Botesdale, Suffolk.
She said: “We’ve never been happier, he’s the love of my life. “My ex-boyfriends are boring in comparison to Richard.”
She added: “Strangers gasp when they realise we’re holding hands and give us dirty looks but we just laugh them off.”
The pair met in 2012 when Natasha had just finished her GCSEs.
She said: “He’s 10 years older than my dad, so I didn’t fancy Richard at the time.”
At first her father, Graham, was unhappy with the age gap, but eventually the family accepted it after Natasha’s mum invited Richard round for dinner.
Natasha, who still works with her husband, added that on her wedding day she “felt so lucky”.
