Nigerians have aired their views following the shocking sack of Director General of the Department of State Services boss, Lawal Daura.

Nigerians have reacted to the shocking sack of the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Mr Lawal Daura by Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo today.

The Acting President had directed the termination of the appointment of the director-general with immediate effect after men of the DSS barricaded the National Assembly on Tuesday preventing lawmakers and their staff from entering the building.

The directive for Daura's sack was contained in a statement issued by the acting President’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr Laolu Akande, in Abuja on Tuesday.

Daura, who was summoned to the presidential villa by the acting president few minutes before his sack, was directed to hand over to the most senior officer of the DSS until further notice.

President Buhari planned this thing before leaving for his vacation. He didn't want to take responsibility but shifted it to his VP. There's no way Daura will be fired without PMB's approval.
