A pro-Buhari group on Wednesday, picked the expression of interest and nomination form for President Muhammadu Buhari so as to aid him contest in the forthcoming primary election of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), ahead of the 2019 general elections.
The president's special adviser on new media, Bashir Ahmad, made the revelation on Twitter as he shared photos from the purchase of the forms and wrote:
"While President @MBuhari is far in China, a group of good Nigerians bought expression of interest form and nomination form for him. #PMB 2.0."
The form, sold for N45 million, was purchased on Presdient Buhari's behalf on Wednesday by one of his support groups, the Nigerian Consolidation Ambassadors Network.
