At a ceremony attended by Rivers State Governor, Minister of State for Aviation, Minister of Labour, and several other top government officials, President Buhari opened the new Port Harcourt international terminal.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, October 25, 2015, inaugurated the new terminal at the Port Harcourt International Airport - a project which is one of four built with a $500million loan taken from China in 2013.

The President arrived Port Harcourt around 12:30PM, and was received by Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike.

Also present at the commissioning was the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, Rivers State APC Gubernatorial Candidate, Tonye Cole, and several other top dignitaries.
