Buhari Wins In 16 Out Of 20 LGAs In Bauchi State

 

 

President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has won 16 out of the 20 local government areas in Bauchi state, according to results of last Saturday’s presidential poll announced so far by the INEC in the state.

 

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, won in Bogoro local government area located in the House of Reps.Speaker, Yakubu Dogara’s federal constituency of Bogoro/Dass/Tafawa Balewa.

 

President Buhari however won Dass and Tafawa Balewa, the two other local government areas of the constituency.

 

President Buhari also won in Jama’are, Itas/Gadau, Warji, Ganjuwa, Dambam, Kirfi, Giade and Misau.

 

Other local government areas won by President Buhari include Alkaleri, Darazo, Ningi, Gamawa, Shira and Toro.

 

Results of three local governments is still being expected.
