The former governor has now been sworn in as a senator of the federal republic of Nigeria.
Former Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has been sworn in as a senator of the 9th National Assembly.
The proceedings took place on Thursday during first plenary led by Senate President, Ahmed Lawan.
Recall that Okorocha was not inaugurated on Tuesday because he had yet to collect his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Okorocha, representing Imo West Senatorial District, was however issued certificate at the end of Tuesday.
