In the ongoing Presidential tribunal ruling taking place in Abuja, INEC's claim against Atiku's lawyer has been struck out.

The Presidential tribunal on Wednesday dismissed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) motion arguing that Atiku’s lead counsel, Livy Uzoukwu, is not a legal practitioner called to the Nigerian Bar.

It held that INEC’s allegation against Atiku's lawyer is unfounded and that Uzoukwu was indeed called to the Nigerian Bar.
