An All Progressives Grand Alliance House of Representative member, Chinedu Obidigwe, representing Anambra west/East has given his constituents meat to celebrate Christmas. He also gave them wrappers and other items.

However, the gesture has attracted the attention of social media users who dragged him on social media over the act.

While some politically aware Anambrarians have regarded this gesture as cheapening his constituents, some others have come forward with other deeds of the HoR member.

According to one facebook comment; "He also gave them about one thousand bags of rice, thousands of tuber of yam and 30 sienna bus. Some others will still not do anything close to what they were voted for and will still not provide even toothpick"

Sharing the photos on his social media page, Chinedu Obidigwe wrote: "Earlier today at Tourist Garden Hotels LTD Aguleri I met with APGA women leaders from Anambra East and West Federal Constituency. This are women that have worked so hard for the party in the rain and under the sunshine.

Yes! They are always there, standing under the sun, waiting, not minding the long queue, eager to cast their votes with hope it will change the future of their children for better. Mothers are our beacon of hope and light.

They deserved to be appreciated and I have no option than to do that in my own little way to encourage them to always be the light for their children to emulate.

Happy Christmas Celebration in advance to our mothers, our party women leaders and other women executives of our great party."
