A central mosque in the South-eastern part of Nigeria was razed down by fire as a retaliatory move by the pro-Biafra protesters who were sidelined by security operatives.

The age-long central mosque in Onitsha, Anambra state which is a popular place of worship for Hausa Muslims in the area has been burned down by angry pro-Biafra activists.
Other severe damages were caused yesterday by the angry mob with lives and properties worth millions of Naira being destroyed. They are advocating for the unconditional release of the IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu who is being detained by the men of the State Security Services for insighting violence and other charges.
